Overview

Embark on an unforgettable 4-day safari adventure to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and oldest conservation area. Murchison Falls is the World’s most powerful falls. And in these 4 days, explore the park intensely to see the wonders of Uganda. Highlights include game drives, boat cruise to the bottom of the falls and also chimpanzee tracking. This safari offers a perfect blend of thrilling wildlife encounters, stunning landscapes, and the thunderous Murchison Falls.

Day 01 :

TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK

After an early morning breakfast, your guide will pick you from your location in Kampala, by 6:30am then transfer you to Murchison Falls National Park. En-route lunch at Masindi hotel. Proceed to Murchison Falls National Park up to the top of the falls and sight the Nile’s beauty. Enjoy viewing the way the Victoria Nile squeezes itself through a narrow 6-meter gorge to form the magic scenery of Murchison Falls. After the interesting encounter proceed to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 02 :

GAME DRIVE AND NILE BOAT CRUISE

Wake up for breakfast and drive via the Nyamisiki Plateau whilst viewing a diversity of wildlife plus the big five including herds of buffaloes, elephants, lions, giraffes, leopards and other wildlife species like warthogs, waterbucks among the rest. After return to the lodge for lunch and a nap.

In the afternoon head out for a Nile boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. Explore other aquatic wildlife like crocodiles, waterbucks, hippos and various bird species including the kingfishers, heron and the weaver birds, the bee eater, the egret among the rest and not forgetting to take the photos of the magnificent Murchison falls. After head back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 03 :

CHIMPANZEE TRACKING AND RHINO TRACKING

Delight in a morning breakfast, after drive to Budongo forest headquarters for a briefing. Later transfer to the trekking point and begin the trekking. You are allowed one hour to stay with the chimpanzees upon meeting them, learning their behaviors, watching them feeding, viewing the juveniles jumping from one tree branch to another making noise to each other in Budongo forest. You can watch the various colorful bird species during the chimpanzee trekking. Go for lunch

After lunch head to Ziwa rhino sanctuary the rhino tracking adventure which gives you opportunity to view the remaining wildlife in Uganda. This sanctuary was put in place to save the life of the endangered rhinos which ran extinct due to poaching. After this activity that approximately takes 3hours, after you head back to Kampala.
