Overview

Kidepo Valley National Park, located in northeastern Uganda, offers an exceptional safari experience, blending stunning landscapes, abundant wildlife, and rich cultural heritage. Day 01 :

TRANSFER TO GULU VIA ZIWA RHINO SANCTUARY

After an early morning breakfast at your hotel, you will be picked up by our driver guide who will brief you about your day’s safari. On your way to Gulu, you will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking. After Rhino tracking you will continue the journey with en-route lunch where after you will continue the journey with spectacular and incredible views of the beautiful landscape, homesteads, and local people among others. Upon arrival in Gulu City, you will check into the hotel/lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 02 :

TRANSFER TO KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK AND EVENING GAME DRIVE

Have breakfast and check out of the lodge and transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park. Upon arrival in the park, you will check into the lodge for lunch where after you will go for the evening game drive. Drive through the Narus Valley. It will also enable you to be in full sight of varieties of birds as well. It’s one of the places in Uganda that most cats like lions, cheetahs & leopards can be seen compared to other park. After the afternoon game drive, you will transfer back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 03 :

GAME DRIVE AND CULTURAL EXPERIENCE

Have breakfast and begin your morning game drive in Kidepo Valley National Park, one of Uganda's most remote and spectacular parks, your guide will lead you through the park, offering excellent opportunities to spot a variety of wildlife including elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and various species of antelope. Keep an eye out for the rare cheetahs and the incredible birdlife the park is known for, such as ostriches and the secretary bird. Take plenty of time to observe the animals in their natural habitat and enjoy the stunning landscapes of the Kidepo Valley then return to the lodge and have lunch. Have lunch and then drive to a nearby village for a community experience. Explore their traditional dwellings, known as manyattas, you will also be able to see some of their traditional tools, crafts and jewelry. You will also be invited for a vigorous leaping dance with these jolly individuals.

Day 04 :

RETURN TO KAMPALA

Delight in a delicious breakfast, check out of the lodge and return to Kampala with lunch on the way. You will arrive in Kampala in the evening and be dropped off at your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe
